Renting a car with the Liigu app—how does it work?
It’s like having your own car waiting for you at Paris Orly Airport!
With Liigu, there is no need to visit a car rental desk. We put our customers' convenience first, which is why you'll only need your smartphone to find the car and start your rental. We always bring the car as close to the arrivals terminal as possible and provide detailed directions on where to find it. After landing, you can go directly to the parking lot and drive off. This saves you a lot of time and hassle, as Paris Orly (ORY) Airport is huge and always busy
Need a car in Paris city centre? We've got you covered. Liigu cars are equipped with automatic transmission, making navigating the charming but crowded streets easier.
Travelling with family? We've got child seats for a safe journey with your little ones. Well-behaved pets are welcome too. All our rental cars are carefully cleaned and disinfected. Additionally, for unexpected changes of plans, we offer free cancellation until 24 hours before your pick-up. Bon voyage!
Discover romantic Paris in the best possible way—by car!
Renting a car is the most convenient way to explore the surroundings of Paris. You can save a lot of valuable sightseeing time by renting a car directly from the airport.
If you plan to explore more of Île-de-France, visit the Loire valley castles, or travel around the Picardy and Normandy regions, consider renting an SUV or another spacious vehicle for added comfort. For driving in Paris, we recommend a smaller car, as streets are crowded and parking space in the city centre is limited.
The speed limit in urban areas across France is typically 50 km/h (31 mph) and sometimes 30 km/h (18 mph) in city centres. Two to three-lane roads have a speed limit of 80 km/h (49 mph), and four-lane roads have a limit of 110 km/h (68 mph). On motorways, the speed limit is 130 km/h (80 mph). All these limits are lower in the case of rain or snowfall. It’s also good to know that green directional signs point to a non-motorway main route or a 'free road.' The blue signs indicate a motorway route and are often marked as 'péage', meaning you’ll need to pay a road toll.
